D-Day
A D-Day countdown widget for Notion — set any target date and see days remaining or passed.
About this widget
The Olivtwig D-Day widget counts down to (or up from) a date you set. Pick a target date, give it a label like 'Launch' or 'Wedding', and the widget displays D-N for days remaining, D-DAY on the day itself, and D+N after the date has passed. Each embedded D-Day has a unique URL and saves its state to the cloud — no signup, no install, no extension. Drop it into a project page, a study plan, or an anniversary tracker, and every page visit gives you a clear, large-font readout of how much time you have left, or how much has gone by.
Why a dedicated D-Day widget
Notion's date property is great inside a database, but creating a database just to count down to a single event is overkill. The D-Day widget does that one thing cleanly: pick a date, set a label, and a big readable counter shows how many days remain. Multiple events? Embed multiple D-Day widgets — each has its own URL, its own date, its own label, all saved independently to the cloud.
How D-Day notation works
D-N means N days remain until the target. D-DAY shows on the actual day. D+N means N days have passed since the target. The widget switches between these automatically based on the current date — you set the target once and the counter manages itself forever. The label and date can be edited inline anytime: click the label or the date to open the editor.

Frequently asked questions
Is the D-Day widget free?
Yes. Every Olivtwig widget — including D-Day — is free to use, with no signup or login required.
Does the target date save automatically?
Yes. Each embedded D-Day has a unique URL, and the date and label save to the cloud the moment you change them. Reloading or revisiting the page restores the latest values.
What happens after the target date passes?
The counter automatically switches from D-N (days remaining) to D-DAY on the day itself, then to D+N for the days since the target. You don't need to do anything.
Can I track multiple D-Days at the same time?
Yes. Click Embed in the gallery for each event you want to track — each D-Day gets a fresh URL and independent state, so you can drop multiple counters on one Notion page.
Can I change the date later?
Yes — click the date inside the widget to edit it inline. The change is saved to the cloud immediately.
