Exchange Rate
Live exchange rates for major currencies — Notion-embeddable, no signup.
About this widget
The Olivtwig Exchange Rate widget shows the live conversion rate between two currencies — useful for international travel, freelance invoicing in another currency, or watching a rate to decide when to transfer money. Each embed has a unique URL and remembers the currency pair you picked. Rates refresh regularly so the number stays current without action from you. There's no signup, no extension, no install — paste the URL into Notion and the rate lives there.
Why an exchange-rate widget in Notion
Currency conversion sites exist on every corner of the web, but each requires you to leave the Notion page you're working on — a travel itinerary, a freelance invoice draft, a remittance plan. Embedding the live rate inside the page keeps the number where the decision is being made. The widget saves the currency pair you picked against its unique URL, so reopening the same Notion page anywhere shows the same conversion without re-selecting currencies.
How rates are updated
Rates come from a public foreign-exchange data source and refresh periodically — the displayed value reflects recent market data rather than a static one-off snapshot. For high-stakes financial decisions, always confirm with your bank or transfer service, since their applied rate may include spread. The widget shows the time of the last update so you can see how fresh the number is.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Exchange Rate widget free?
Yes. Every Olivtwig widget — including Exchange Rate — is free to use, with no signup or login required.
Does the currency pair save?
Yes. Each embed has a unique URL, and the pair you select saves to the cloud immediately. Reopening the URL on any device restores the same conversion.
How accurate are the rates?
Rates come from a public FX data source and reflect recent market data — accurate enough for planning and general reference. For high-stakes transfers, always confirm with your bank or transfer service since real applied rates can include spread.
Which currencies are supported?
The widget covers the major global currencies — USD, EUR, JPY, KRW, GBP, and other widely-traded pairs. Niche or local currencies may not be available.
Can I have multiple rate widgets on one page?
Yes. Click Embed in the gallery for each pair — each Exchange Rate widget has its own URL and remembers its own pair, so a single page can hold several conversions side by side.
