About this widget

The Olivtwig Weather widget shows the current weather for a location you set — your own city, a place you're traveling to, or anywhere you want to keep an eye on. Each embed has a unique URL and remembers the city you chose, so the same Notion page on any device shows the same forecast. There's no signup, no extension, no install. The widget displays temperature, condition (sunny / rainy / cloudy / etc.), humidity, wind, and feels-like — enough to plan a day around without leaving the Notion page.

Why a weather widget inside Notion

Most weather apps live on your phone or in a separate browser tab — both require leaving the Notion page you're using to plan your day. Embedding the forecast directly into your morning page or trip page puts the weather one glance away from the rest of your context. The widget remembers the city you set, so your daily start page shows your home weather while a trip itinerary can show the destination weather, all in the same Notion workspace.

How the city is saved

Each Weather embed has a unique URL with a short ID. The city you choose saves to the cloud against that ID — reopening the URL on any device shows the same location's current weather, no re-entry needed. Click the change-city control on the widget to switch locations anytime; the change saves immediately.

Set the destination city on your travel planning page to track weather there as the trip approaches.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Weather widget free?

Yes. Every Olivtwig widget — including Weather — is free to use, with no signup or login required.

Does the chosen city save automatically?

Yes. Each embed has a unique URL, and the city saves to the cloud the moment you pick it. Reopening the URL on any device restores the same location.

Which weather source does the widget use?

The widget pulls from a public weather data provider; the data quality matches what you'd see on most consumer weather apps for the same city.

Can I show temperature in Fahrenheit / Celsius?

The widget uses the unit convention typical for the visitor's locale (Celsius for Korean / metric regions, Fahrenheit for US). A toggle isn't currently exposed.

Can I track multiple cities at once?

Yes. Click Embed in the gallery for each city — each Weather widget has its own URL and saved location, so a single Notion page can hold weather widgets for home, work, and travel destinations side by side.
